Keg at the brewery tap in Henley. A murky amber pour with a ring of white head; aroma of sour cider apples; crisp, sharp and sour apple taste; with clean grape juice finish. Very fresh and refreshing.

Had this in brewery April 2013. I had this again in bottle at Jan & Charlotte’s, Ulfborg, Denmark in company of Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella and Loz 20.05.13 Pours very dark brown with tan head, a light fruity sourness with some vanilla on nose. Tangy in mouth, maybe a little plastic at back, sour, fruity and with little sweetness. Really tangy fruitiness the whisky ageing is rather secondary, you can certainly tell that this has been aged close to the Sour Grapes. Interesting and pretty decent. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle picked up at brewery but consumed at Jan & Charlottes, Ulfborg, Denmark. Had this in company of Jan, Charlotte, Craig, Stella, Loz and Morten 19.05.13 Pours light/mid yellow with nice white head. A good beer, clearly this was always going to come second best when compared with the other sour we had this evening, and yet it was still pretty good especially considering the back story of how this came about. Sour but this has a relatively short finish, the zappy, tangyness is there at the start but a touch muted with a little lemony biscuit on the end. I enjoyed this and the barrel ageing softens this considerably. Good beer. A8 A4 T7 P4 Ov16 3.9

Tap at the brewery in Henley, 05/05/13. Lightly hazed pale golden with a thin white head that retains well. Nose is sour grapes, light funk, touch herbal, pissy hint, elderflower, faint citrus. Taste comprises soured white grapes, lemon rind, funy barnyard, tarte citrus fruits. Medium bodied with fine carbonation, crisp and dry in the finish. Good lightly soured fayre, great to add a tarte note to the tongue and refresh on a warm day.

Stouts III Tasting. Cheers Paul for this one. Pale amber beer, bubbly white head. Palate is light and crisp, semi dry. Pleasant sourness, so not too much then! Light apple, apricot and lesser generic fruits. Finishes light crisp. Very drinkable sour.
