Dark amber. Big and thick head, it doesn’t last long though. Smooth buttery toffee aroma. Flavour is more butter and toffee with just the slightest hint of peat and smoke. Somewhat thin mouth feel. Finish is a bit harsh, is it the alcohol?

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of joergen. Pours a clear, dark amber golden with a beige head. Aroma of caramel and butter - LOTS of butter. Medium body with sweetish caramel accents, a vague burned touch and then again these unfortunate accents of butter. The finish is burned malty. 191207

Bottled. Dark amber, small head. Resiny and smokey with clean mouthfeel and surprisingly slim body. Notes of butter and interesting salty juniper smoke. Low bitterness. Pretty good!

500ml bottle from Systembolaget consumed at my hotel room in Stockholm. Unfiltered. Hazy orange body. Only a tiny little head. Fruity yeastiness in both aroma and flavour. Tartness impression. Grainy and crispated. Not my kind of beer (03.12.2006).
