Bottle, thanks Fin! Darkest brown, low brown head. Dark sugar roast, medium full fruity on the palate, burnt paper, wood notes, leafy bitterness, a bit sticky, mushroom soy sauce.

Bottle picked up from the brewery a few weeks ago, it's the typical 1L PET bottle. Had this at home Wednesday 5th March 2025 listening to ByteFM and we're making Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas. Pours hazy dark amber with a mid sized white head, nice soft mouthfeel, sweet and a little confectionary thing going on but cann%ot quite put my finger on it. Malty and with some breadiness. Yeah it's ok but I much preferred the 3.5% hALE that I had before.

Bottle picked up from the brewery a few weeks ago, it's the typical 1L PET bottle. Had this at home Wednesday 5th March 2025 listening to ByteFM and we're making Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas. Pours hazy muddy gold with a large white foamy head. Decent hoppiness straight from the off, bitterness is quite streaky and pushy, some citrus, lengthy dry finish. Got to say this is very good for such a low abv beer.

Bottle picked up from Mestsky pivovar Domazlice, and consumed at home Friday 31st January 2025 listening to Afrodeutsche on 6Music. We cooked a large Lasagna and also Cannelloni (which we had tonight). Pours dark brown, in fact very dark brown if there was a head it soon departed. Nutty and malty with a little bit of caramel but a bit flat in the mouth. Okay but not totally my thing.

Had this Saturday 25th January 2025, picked up from the brewery in Domazlice last week, cooking Chorizo, Clams and Feta Chowder in a Tomato Sauce, listening to Mogwai - The Bad Fire. Pours light/mid amber with a mid sized white head. The nose is a little malty with citrus and stone fruits. A touch on the rustic side, bitterness runs throughout, some caramel, nice soft mouthfeel. This is good but a touch rough around the edges.

Bottle picked up from the brewery in Domazlice, Czechia and consumed at home Saturday 18th January 2025 preparing Lamb Kebabs, Turkish flat breads (purchased those) a type of Tsatsiki listening to ByteFM. Pours mid/dark gold with a large white head. Nice aroma, subtle but there is a little breadiness and clearly some hops. Taste is hoppy, fresh, clean nicely bitter, dry finish. Like this, seems a pretty solid example of the style to me.

Bottle picked up from the brewery in Domazlice, Czechia and consumed at home Sunday 19th January 2025 cooking Smoky Slow Cooker Pork with Boston Baked Beans listening to ByteFM. This pours murky dirty gold with a large white head, there is a little bit of sick on the nose, I know that sounds strange but I get this with some beers from time to time. Soft mouthfeel, nice bite, finish is dry, a little pithy lemon. Quite good.

Tap at Slunce ve skle 2024. Hazy golden body, off-white head. Yeasty aroma, wheat malt, apple esters. Dry taste, caramelly, bit citric, peachy, light. Okay, atypical.

Tap at the Domažlice wine & beer fest. Murky muddy brown body, thick off-white head... the brewer was really unhappy with how the red x-driven malt profile turned out - and at first glance it was obvious why. The aroma followed was a bit stale, caramelly and nutty with almost no hop presence. Lean, dry taste thankfully, but with more caramelly, nutty malty notes, with just the vagues of herbal and vaguer still fruity touches to show that there were some hops in here... sadly, a failure. Not undrinkable, but style-wise, a failure. The brewer and the brewery can do far better.

Tap at Festival minipivovaru na Hrade. Med-full body, medium carbo. Medium sweetness, medium bitterness, light pleadant warmth. Lots of dried fruits, toffee, a bit chocolatey. Phenolic and estery notes in the background. Tasty, quite good.
