Can best before May 31, 2027 (lol!), drunk Mar 11, 2026. The Best Before date on their IPAs kills me. I think they use an 18 or 24 month BBD on their IPAs!
Smells like wort! Not sure I get any hop. Touch of chocolate-like malt character, I guess. Some earthiness, some metal...
Quite thin with a good deal of diacetyl. Can't tell if there is hop bitterness on the end (maybe a bit) but it's mostly malt bitterness. Approaching a seltzery body, though not the absolute thinnest I've had for an NA. Certainly no actual hop character. Maybe you could extrapolate a speck of grapefruit and pine. Papery, lightly worty, seltzery flavors up front disrupt all continuity. Really just a lightly chocolatey beverage with vague bitterness. Wort and diacetyl retronasal. Ok, that's enough Sober Carpenter. I've tried three and that's two too many.

Had one of these quite a while ago, probably close to when they first began and never rated it. Horribly oxidized and thin, seltzery stuff with overboiled, stale hop and little redeeming qualities, though not worty. I understand this was the beginning of craft NA beer, but the problem is, I just had a fresh, DDH Hazy IPA from them and it's not much better.

Can. Best before June 4, 2027 (LOL!), drunk March 7, 2026.
Well with a full 15 months under date code, this ought to be absolutely stunning! ;)
Smells yeasty with big fruit esters and lots of vanilla and orange. Some citrusy, lightly piney hop and there is a touch of acidity, bordering on a sourish note. Smells more like a milkshake than a beer/ipa.
Thin, very thin. Lots of oxidation and yeah, that slight sourish character that mcberko mentions. Extremely muddled, dull, short finish. Watery and completely insipid and uninspired.

473ml can. Pours a hazy gold yellow with a small, foamy, short lived, white head that leaves soapy lacing. Mild aroma of bready pale malt, orange and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, orange, peach, pineapple and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. Interesting that they called this a Session IPA. Aren't all NA beers by definition 'session beers'?

473ml can. Pours a slightly hazy red amber with a medium, frothy, short lived, beige head that laces. Sweet aroma of bready caramel malt, cedar and tea. Sweet flavour of toasted caramel malt, tea and floral hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and average carbonation. Not bad for what it is. I just wish they could figure out how to give these NA beers more body.

473mL can, pours a hazy dark reddish pink with a medium white head. Aroma has plenty of raspberries, some muted wheatiness, and light lacto. Flavour has some butyric-like raspberry, lacto, and mineraly notes. This is pretty bad—not really drinkable.

473mL can, pours a hazy dull blonde with a small white head. Aroma has plenty of cardboard, washed out floral hops, traces of diacetyl. Flavour is bland, with cardboard, almost a sour character to it, and washed out floral hops. Cardboardy, dry, pretty unsatisfying, even for a NA.

Pale gold with a thin, foamy head. Wheat-like aroma, dank basement, not much spice. Taste is faint sweet with a green tea-like bitterness (faint) at the finish. Light bodied, mild carbonation, watery. Not much fun.

Pint can. Roasted malt aroma with notes of dark chocolate, grapefruit, coffee, tangerine, floral and pine resin hops. Pours black with a finger of mocha brown head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt, dark chocolate, coffee and tangerine flavors. Finishes smooth and dry with grapefruit, floral and pine rainy hop flavors. Decent NA brew.
