Description
The Brewery moved to its location just outside Alnwick after being taken over by Harry Hotspur Holdings. They provide beers for sister company Lindisfarne, they also utilise brands Hawk Wing Beers and VIP.

Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As VIP The Village Ghost ].Clear dark brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, minerals, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long duration, roasted bitter, salty, oyster stout alike. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141009]

Bottle at Craig’s, bought from the brewery. Potentially mislabelled? Pours clear gold with a bubbly white head, mild gusher. Aromas of light sherbet, lemon. Taste is light malt, prickly finish.

Tired at the Bourne festival 2015. Golden colour with a thin white head. Very slight hop aroma decent enough taste slight refreshing bitterness.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep cloudy amber. Nice head. Nose - light marmalade and biscuits. Taste - light spicy biscuits. Orange again. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a light tangy and then quite watery finish. Overall - drinkable.

500ml bottle from the Sun Hotel, Warkworth. Gusher! Pours hazy golden amber with a thick, big- bubbled white head. Aromas of dried mixed fruit, not much else. Taste is malt, watery fruit. Heavy tannins. Very dry finish, prickly carbonation.
