Established in 1830
The origin of the brewery and distillery Gebr. Sünner was located in Cologne-Deutz. Today it is the oldest Kölsch brewery in the world and has been owned by the Sünner family since 1830. The origins go back to a small house brewery called "Zum Schiffgen" with a distillery and taproom. In 1846 the brewery moved to the current premises in Cologne-Kalk. With Astrid Schmitz-DuMont, the sixth generation of the Sünner family has taken over the management of the brewery and continues the tradition of the family-owned brewery and distillery.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Intense malty aroma. Starts fine malty, roasty, sweetish. Some woody notes as well. Some hints of some special herbs. Sweetish malty finish, well balanced. Nice!
Decent

Okay. 9/7/7/8/11/7
