Cask @ Victoria Inn, Rugby. Golden with a small head. Ordinarily hopped, and the same can be said about its texture, but it's certainly sessionable.

Bottle taken away from Ye Hole in Ye Wall, drunk in our hotel. Shit, it's a gusher. Lost 20% of it when we opened the bottle. It pours light gold, hazy with a tiny bit of head. Weird smell. Predominantly of mint. Tastes odd, not bad but od do: sweet and malty with more mint and a light herbal note. I hated it at first but it grows on me. Soft carbonation with a full, almost gritty body, leaving a medicinal nutty aftertaste. Not terrible but terribly messy.

12/2/2019. Bottle from the Bottle Room, Southport. Pours golden with a short lasting small off-white head. Aroma is skunky, old hops, not good. Light sweetness, moderate bitterness, light sourness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Hadn't noticed when buying this it was BBE 8/18 and paid full price, but even taking that into account it shouldn't have been this bad.
