Can at home, from an online peddler, 06/10/22. Copper to light chestnut brown with a good sized beige head. Nose is nutty, caramel, stewed fruits, biscuit, brown bread. Taste comprises bitter sweet fruits, green apple, tangy, toffee, sharp fruit rinds. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Passable ... a bit sharp and tangy ... a touch infected? Not terrible though.

Can from Beer 52 – drank at home. This is a nitro beer, so it all comes gushing out in an awful mess ! Anywyay, pours an intense black with a large foamy cream head. Roasted malts, biscuits and oats can be detected in the aroma. The first taste proves it to be sweet, smooth – and very little else ! Pretty damn tasteless in fact. Eventually some bitterness comes through, along with hints of chocolate and dark fruits. By then however, it’s too late – I’ve already drunk most of it searching for some taste. One of the blandest stouts I’ve ever tasted. On the plus side though it’s the most swiggable stout I’ve ever tasted !
