F: thin, almost white, quick gone. C: deep gold to amber, clear. A: malty, watery caramel, bit oxidized. T: watery malty, very low bitterness if any, thin body, mineral carbonation, bit biscuits, almost like tropical lager and for hot climate of north Australia not bad probably yet not for me, 33cl bottle from Magasin Matira in Bora Bora

Bottled. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and straw, leading to a dry finish. The body is light.

On keg at the MCG, Melbourne. Now this isn’t great, not much aroma or flavour. But in comparison to Carlton Mid, it wins hands down! Inoffensive. Pale straw in colour. Light grains, easy drinking.

(On tap - not sure I can do a fair review after a 12km hike in extreme heat and humidity- anything very cold would be great!) Clear golden yellow with good white head. Aroma has hints of bread and grass. Light body god carbonation. Taste has tart refreshing notes, some rather bready malt and a hint of bitterness at end. Quite drinkable and quite unexceptional. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

375ml can into schooner glass. Crystal clear amber beer with two finger white head and medium carbonation. Faint ’plastic’ aroma. Medium body, very faint taste of tin, no finish. What the....?

Bottle, now says "Original" on the label? Golden, low white head, light sweet corny malt notes, a hint bittering hops, light watery body, mostly clean but has a very light sticky aftertaste. Not so great....

(Bottle) Clear straw with small short-lived loose white head. Aroma is grain with cardboard hints. Light bodied and fizzy. Awful taste. Initially a bland inoffensive vaguely sweet flavour which quickly disappears to being very watery with some slightly lemony notes appearing at the end, plus some metallic hints in the aftertaste. Truly awful, but not so awful as to pour it down the sink. It’s more like a slightly flavoured soda water.

From a 330ml bottle on 15/3/2015. Pours a clear deep golden with a biggish bright white head. The nose is stale grain and corn. In the mouth, it more stale and sweet grain and vegetable, with no evidence of hops to be found. Thin body and average carbonation. Beer really doesn’t get much worse than this. Abysmal.
