330ml bottle. Clear, orange, dark golden to amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Weak, slightly bready and grainy, malty aroma, hints of brown bread crust, a touch of oney covered cereals. Taste is mildly bitter hoppy and slightly toasty, minimally bready, malty with some residual sweetness, hints of bread crust, a touch of honey covered cereals.
Watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation.
Easy drinkable, monotonous, a tad too sweet - so-so.

Can from Beautiful Beers, Bury St Edmunds. Clear amber gold. Thick fluffy foamy white head. Aroma combines malts and citrus. Flavourwise there isba citeu and metallic streak over earth malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Enjoyable enough. Slips down on a humid evening.

Can from Beers of Europe. Clear gold with small white top, decent retention. Aroma of grainy malts, corn and grassy hops. Very bland tasting - chewy basic malts, faint grassy hops with some bitterness. Bit of cardboard in aftertaste. Body and fizz are ok for the style. Poor but I've had a lot worse.

330ml into schooner, from BWS, Glen Innes. Golden amber beer with a medium size head of white foam. High fine carbonation. Malty nose, a hint of hops in the background. Some lacing, flat mouthfeel, medium body. Finish is hoppy and sour. Not bad, not good. Middling lager, the lingering sour aftertaste really pulls it down.

Post-match beverage. Clear, golden pour. Mainly malt, some lemon and other fruit as well. OK overall
