Sampled from the tap at Happy Gnome. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head that dissipates completely. Aroma has tart light fruits with straw and grains underlying. Flavor has dry tart tropical fruits with a light grain backbone. A bit thin.

The taste was boysen-barely there. This beer left much to be desired. Hopefully funkwerks finds there way back to the sour path after this

Bottle pours out a hazy golden topped with a white head. Nose is brett some earthy notes spice and even a touch of fruit. Taste is more of the nice big brett kick spice and floral.

Short pour at the brewery - dark amber with a frothy head - basically tastes like a straight up hoppy american red, with strong woody, garlicy, and citric American hop aromas and flavors - Belgian yeast character is absent - toasty, rich malt - moderate acidity in the finish- eh, it's okay.

Short pour at the brewery - hazy amber- as another rater has noted, this is like a Belgian BdG hybrid - bready, rich but dry maltiness - dusty, earthy yeast, light bitterness, moderate peppery spice - mild back-end fruitiness - subtle, but also rich and complex - finish has mild acidity that cuts through the malt and let's the bitterness and pepper linger.

Short pour at the brewery - hazy gold with a substantial head - lovely floral hop nose complimented by aromatics from the Saison yeast - creamy texture - dry and firmly bitter - some pepper, dust, light background funk - spicy and dry finish - lovely beer.
