Flesje via Abdij La Trappe. Licht amberkleurig bier, beetje troebel met mooie schuimkraag. Aroma is hoppig en bloemig. De smaak is hoppig om later over te gaan in een kruidige nasmaak.

Bottle at the brewery, special thanks to the brewers for the privilege. Amber copper pour with orange highlights and tick amberish off-white foam. Nose: citra hops aroma fighting with a strong malty backbone and a yeasty-driven overall. Mouth is bitter even quite tarty somehow, with a malty old-school character. Solid

Pretty clear orange blond beer, big creamy dense yellow head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of banana yeast, sweet malts, caramel, touch of vanilla, little chemical, some band-aid. MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: surprisingly sourish start, some citrus notes, bit spicy, herbal almost, chemical notes, ripe fruits, some apples and pears.

Bruin bier met schuim. Smaak is licht zoetzuur kruidig met iets van honing en een vleugje karamel. Vaag is de eucalyptus en iets van menthol in de kruidige smaak te herkennen. Mooie aanwinst.

Bottle pour at Osteria Morini in Washington, DC. Poured a hazy orange color with a medium-small white head. Aroma was, kind of weird Fernet action going on here. Some mint notes, herbal. Wheat, grain. Some alcohol is present here. Flavor was pleasant grain, wheat, coriander, kind of funky.
