About
Windsor and Eton are already famous for many things. The castle, college, river, racecourse and of course the Royal connections. In 2010 the four of us wanted to add beer to the list. In fact we had a wild idea to make beer the top attraction. So we brought brewing back to the heart of Windsor.

Nearly 10 years on we remain a ‘beer led’ brewery making outstanding beers of every single style and character. We offer a warm welcome to everyone from beer newcomer to expert, locals to visitors, the smallest club to the biggest pub and the local shop to the top supermarket.

We are proud to be part of the revolution in beer making throughout the world. As founder members of the London Brewers Alliance, we have helped grow the number of the Capital’s breweries from 11 in 2010 to over 90 today. Together we are bringing great choice and quality to London drinkers.

Cask@Penderel’s Oak (JDW), London (02/11/2022) - As “fright of the garter” sweet bready malty, some caramel and light citrus lemony fruity notes, bitter hoppy and malty close. Ok.

Brown/dark red pour with a decent white/beige head. Aromas of chestnut, dark bread/malt, a hint of toffee, similar tastes with a hint of apple. Not bad...

1/3 pint, cask at Trent Bridge Inn (JDW). Shared with Finn. Filmy layer, dotted spots on the glass, and a clear golden body. Moderate aromas of herbal hops and grass. Mixed taste of leafy hops and earthy malts. Drying close with satisfying bitterness. Decent. (Nottingham 13.10.2022).

Tap at Brewdog shepherds Bush, collabfest 2022. A hazed reddish brown coloured pour with a fine beige head. Aroma is nutty, clove, stale grains, caramel, subdued,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, woody bark, charred toast, apple, light wet spices, clove, light tang. Palate is semi sweet, light tang, moderate carbonation. Ok.

Cask at Heidrun, HW, 15/10/22. Clear golden with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is soft malts, grass, grains, light citric peel, tangerine. Taste comprises hedgerow, grass, lemon tinged straw, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent easy going golde.

Cask @ White Hart, Todmorden. Wetherspoon 2022 Autumn Beer Festival Ale. Golden with a creamy-frothy head. Floral-hoppy with a floral-bitter finish.

Cask at Richard John Blackler, Liverpool. Pours a golden amber with a small scummy off-white head but good lacing. Floral hops are the mainstay of the aroma, and they are there again in the mouth which is quite fruity. Autumn fruits with some biscuit malts underneath. Becomes fairly bitter later leading to a slightly dry finish. Nice enough, but not wildly exciting.
