~12oz pour on draft at Mad Fox. Poured a golden/light copper color, with a small white slightly foamy head. Serious sweet malt notes, with not a whole lot of hop backing. Flavor was pleasant malts, sweet notes, not too malt heavy. Pretty refreshing.

GBBF Cask. Hazy dark brown beer. A few bubbles for a head. Light palate, semi dry. Rich boiled sweets fruit with traces of coca cola. Very mild sourness. The malt is subtle, it’s all about the boiled sweets here. Allright though!

Night cap on my first day at GBBF ’11, gravicask, 8.6% abv, one-third pint at USA Cask Ale Bar. Pitch black body colour, bright surface. Grain malty aroma added by dark berries. Dried fruits like plums in flavour together with dark berries and semi-sweet malts. Subdued hop bitter ending. On the sweet side of bittersweet (London, 02.08.2011).
