This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking slightly pale hazy orange color with some light descending streams of golden yellow rippling through the beer along the sides. The head had a nice one finger white foaminess that displayed a nice beauty to show a super nice foamy rockiness over top of the beer glass.
The smell was intricate through some nice piney to slightly spicy features to mark their turf underneath my nose.
The taste had a nice full sweet to bitter pine blended very nicely with a light citrus sweet to bitter hoppiness. There was a super nice citrusy somewhat spicy aftertaste and a dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was sharp but delicately woven into the blend of the intricacies of the body.
Overall, what a surprise to find such a great APA from this little known brewery in Eastern PA. This is well worthy of having again.

Draft @ Sunset Grill & Tap. 4 oz. sample, dirty amber color with a ton of carbonation. Caramel, toasted grain, fruitiness with a light earth note as well.

Flavor is light. Malt dominant with dark fruit and a sweet finish caramel leading into a weak earthy hop note. Very light watery body hints of sweetness. Alcohol for 7 % shows up in the finish. With a name like “Smooth Hoperator” I was expecting a much bolder hop profile. Not a bad brew in anyway just a bit of a letdown.

Bottle at James’s. Pours golden, very bitter and juicy, sweet toffee, quite nice.

Pretty good for style. Citrus in taste with barley edge. Pours dark amber with good head and lacing. Finishes with light bitterness, good barley presence all the way through. On tap at DC Summerfest.

Another pilsener without much good saaz hops. Pours golden with good head and lacing. Finishes with light bitterness. Smells nice. Some sweetness here. Watery texture. On tap at DC Summerfest.

Pours gold into a Sam glass. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving scant lacing. Dough and hay aromas. Sharp with sweet caramel and hay upfront turning to mild sourdough before the lasting earthy bitter finish.

Bottle with a purple label (if that helps figure out which batch this is...). Pours a nice orangish amber with a slight haze and a fluffy head. Aromas are doughy with little hops and flavor is a mess too. A bit of an almost infected presence covers up a dusty grain presence and a bit of citrus. This is a very sad way to hit IPA number 300.

At a tasting, thanks zvikar, s,allish head, hazy and a little light orange colour, citrusy herbal aroma, fruity honey candy flavour, medium bitternes, pronouncable sweetness that is a bit of a bother. Drinkable but nothing out of the ordinary.
