Bottle at home, from Wegmans Downington, 04/12/13. Dark amber with a good sized off white head that retains well. Nose is caramel malt, straw, light tropicals, candied orange peel, hop presence. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit malt, caramelised sugars, orange peel, trace of red grapefruit, candied sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy hop bitterness leading to a lightly sugar coated finale. Ok stuff.

This brew pours a clear pale reddish-amber color with a medium foamy light beige head that diminishes slowly. Partial sheets of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and piney hops. Medium-bodied with flavors of resiny hops, caramel and malt. The finish is Moderately bitter with a floral hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

GABF 2013. Pours a cloudy yellow orange appearance with a white. Beautiful fruity - lemon, tangerine, banana - vanilla, sweet wheat aroma. Light clove, banana, nice wheat flavor that finishes pretty dry. Really a pleasure to try after being frustrated most of the Friday session with so man mediocre beers. Really would love to try this one again.

Pour is a hazy tan with a small tan head. Aroma is slightly malty and kinda thin. Flavor is better with a nice roasted nut and decent caramel malt. Finish is malty and bready. Did not start off too well with this one but after taking a few sips it grew on me and turned out to be a decent marzen.
