I really enjoyed this summer seasonal from Schlafly. Summer Kolsch has a refreshing earthy flavor with a slight hops kick (although I did not note the bitterness mentioned in several previous reviews). As with all Schlafly brews, this one appears to be designed for session quaffing, and is smooth and easy on the mouth and throat.

A nice, quaffable Irish stout. Notes of chocolate and roasted character. This Irish is meant for session drinking as opposed to careful tasting, with a tame body, underwhelming flavors, and its smooth, nicely carbonated nature. A good bar brew.

Bottled. Pale amber. Fruity nose with notes of cherry. Sweet and completely dominated by crystal malt flavour. Low hop rate and near watery mouthfeel. Low bitterness. After their Pilsner and Winter ESB this was a bit of a let down.

Bottled. Pale golden with smallish creamy head. Very nice hop aroma, the saaz hop is evident. Firm and dryish with chewy maltiness and gentle soft mouthfeel. The finish is grassy and bitter. This is a wonderful pilsener, and one of the best North American examples I've tried.

Nice resiny hop flavors and aroma. Good solid bitterness. A bit weak on the malts, but OK. Generally clean, pale malt - very little caramel malt. Smooth, medium body. Small head but excellent lacing.
