Fairly hazy deep copper and bronze coloured body with a very thin, almost non-existent pure white head that fades immediately upon pouring. Aroma of wheat, white chocolate (not even really a thing), lactose, light brewed coffee, a dash of black/roasted teas and a touch of wheatie and yeastie funk on the end from the complexity of the yeast strain. Medium-bodied; Strong lactose and very creamy elements dominate up front with a very beefy wheat and yeast flavour with some pungent chocolate and even light coffee notes with a touch of grass and a funky complexity at the end, but there is a lot of sweetness from the lactose and chocolate with a big bite of lightly roasted brewed coffee on the end with the associated bitterness. Aftertaste is rich with lactose, cream, wheat, coriander seed and a lot of funk throughout that shows an interesting beer that sort of blends styles and expectations, but is very deep, wheatie and rich that shows some nice complexities but some funky and odd flavours, especially for a beer. I sampled this 33 cL stubby bottle, purchased from Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia on 19-May-2020 for US$4,99 sampled at my house here in Washington after returning from a very hot West Palm Beach, Florida on 15-February-2021.

Perfectly fine oatmeal stout, with a gentle roasted chocolate soul and a smidge of dark fruit and caramel lying underneath. Finishes somewhat dry and fruity. Not a classic, but it's very easy to put away a pint.

Pour is a black with a average tan head. Aroma is ashy malt with some blueberry. Flavor is some tart blueberry with the malt reminding me of the outside of a oreo cookie. Sweet but a dark crackery malt. A bit thin but the tart blueberry is nice.

Bottle, mix pack, TWSP. Dark brown to black with a soft brown head. Cocoa powder, chocolate, light spice nose. Cinnamon, chocolate, roasted malt. Not the best version of this stout I've tried. Something just tastes a bit cheap (but then again, this was an inexpensive mix pack).

Bottle, mix pack, TWSP. Dark brown to black, giant tan head that overflows my glass and makes a hell of a mess. Outstanding aroma reminding me of pipe tobacco: chocolate, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, coffee, vanilla. Blueberry, coffee, blackberry, chocolate, light vanilla. Thinner than expected, but quite tasty.

Bottle, mix pack, TWSP. With today's weather (2020 reminding us it's still 2020), I'm surprised I didn't start hours ago. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Cocoa powder, chocolate, light coffee beans in the nose. Chocolate, vanilla, cocoa, brown leaf. Smooth, simple, enjoyable.

Pour is a black with a large tan head. Aroma is cocoa powder with some ashy malt. Flavor is More ashy malt with a sweet finish. Real thin and watery mouthfeel for a stout. Worth a single pickup only.
