Bottle from AmmersinO, Vienna. Dark brown body, with medium, creamy, beige head, that dissipates quickly. Delicious, complex aroma of almond, plum, raisin, ripe banana, caramel, chocolate, some roast. Tastes of chocolate, dark dried fruits, almond, banana, nuts. Mouthfeel is medium, creamy, with a good carbonation and it finishes alcohol warming and sweet, with dark dried fruits and almond. Great! Unique, complex and also quaffable dark bock beer, that interestingly tastes like somewhere inbetween a Doppelbock and a Belgian dark strong ale.

Tap. Complex fruity sugars, berries, nice aromatics in rlthe finish. Medium body, creamy, light sparkly. Nicely balanced, light, approachable. Need to try this head to head with the Andechs Doppelbock., not sure the granite ads extra complexity compared.

Hazy amber with a medium white head. Yeasty aroma with banana and spices. Flavour was fairly dry with yeasty, banana, peachy and spicy notes. Finished dry.

reddish brown colour, half inch beige head; aroma of roasted sugar, dried fruits (raisin, maybe some figs and plum), bread and some honey; taste is dominated by roasted sugar with dried fruits and bread again; alcohol is fully hidden; quite good bock

Bottle on 06/05/2011. Clear golden amber body with some small floating particulate and a small creamy white head. Sweet honey and spicy hop aroma. Sweet cheerios, floral and spicy hop flavor with a bit of honey caramel and a very dry finish.
