From the tap at 8th Street Grill, in Minneapolis. Color is classic blonde with fine white foam. Aroma is instant, with only some subtle smell potentially from oxidation or unclean pipes. Body is medium-light. Taste is predominantly bitter, with underlying sweetness. But even in taste a strange, artificial finish is present...

ABR 2016. Very good. Amber color. Flavor has lots of cherry, citrus, spices. For an ESB, it is very thick, heavy and sweet. The cherry flavor is especially prominent. No bourbon flavor specifically, and in fact not even dry flavor from the oak. Very good.
