Sample at the 29th Annual Oregon Brewers Festival on 07/30/2016. Pale golden color with a medium thin frothy white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Spotty lace. Herbal hops, fruit and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of floral hops, fruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Solid beer for the orange peel. Citrus hops with orange in the flavor and the aroma. Carbonation seems a little lower. Citrus hop finish and a mild hop burn.

Can: Charred oak, tree bark, and baker’s chocolate aroma, not strong. Mahogany, thin tan head. Chocolate and raisin, strawberry accents. Medium body, moderate carbonation. I expected this to be fairly ordinary but it turned out to be really nice.

Great aroma that reminds me of gin. Pine first, maybe some juniper. Blonde color. Herbal flavor, some clove surprisingly. Unusual and good. I did not know at the time that it was made with Vikre gin, but based on aroma I suspected the use of gin in this beer. I enjoy the aroma much more than the flavor. At the brewery, June 9, 2016.

Wintefest 2016. Tons of carbonation with the nitro. Huge chai aroma, and a little coconut. Chai dominates the flavor, some coconut, and roasted malt character, moderate heavy roast. Great beer.

Pours a copper-orange with not much head. Strong floral hop and fruit aromas. Flavor was very fruity, lots of hops, tropical fruit. Fairly sweet and pretty well-balanced. Alcohol content well-disguised.
