Bottle at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen. Hazy, golden amber with a white to tan head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity aroma of caramel, green apples, vanilla and some citrus. Sweetish, slightly sourish, fruity taste of lemon, green apples, gooseberry and oak, followed by a short, slightly bitter, rather tart finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy to effervescent mouthfeel. Nice!

Thank you for sharing tderoeck! 750 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG V. I think that I have seen this one in the store & it was insanely expensive like around € 20. GUSHER. Dark hazy amber orange, off-white head. Nose is weird massive juniper & jenever, fizzy, lots of the barrel & quite boozy. Very fizzy body & taste, hugely over-carbonated. Taste is huge weird jenever mixed with perfume, chemical, grains, esters, chemicals,… Overly fizzy, perfume chemical body,…. Jenver is actually not even if overly heavy, the overly fizzy base, perfume etc. doesn’t work.

20/II/16 - 75cl bottle from Willems, shared @ RBBWG V (Ben's place) - BB: n/a, bottle #0388/1000 (2016-213) Thanks to Beerlover_Ben for picking this up for me!

Ridiculously expensive bottle (over €16!), and that has nothing to do with the shop! Clear dark amber beer, small creamy off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very yeasty, lots of overripe banana, caramel, sweet, sugary, lots of alcohol. MF: ok carbon, medium body, alcohol burn. Taste: yeast, alcohol, bit sourish, malty, lots of banana. Aftertaste: lots of alcohol, sourish touch, yeast, more banana.

Sampled from bottle @ Ratebeer Belgian Winter Gathering 2016. Hazy reddish color, medum sized white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly sourish, something weird, which I guess is gin. Fizzy carbonation. Not very nice imo.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, malt, and caramel. The sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, and over ripe fruits, leading to a burning alcoholic finish - too much.
