Description
Huisbrouwerij opgericht door Piet Meirhaeghe in 2002. Aanvankelijk werden de bieren gebrouwen bij De Proefbrouwerij te Lochristi. Na wat verbouwingen is er sinds 2009 is er een brouwzaal en proeflokaal.

27/04/2018 @home - 33cl bottle from a shop in Bruges. Dark amber colour, medium head. Nose is malts, bit fruits, spices. Taste is malts, banana, cake, spices, not bad but typical.

Bottle @ home. A bit unclear orange-golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, a sweetish light herbal touch, lightly yeast. Average to decent body and carbonation. Ok beer.

03/11/2017 @home - 75cl bottle (BBF 06/2017) shared with tderoeck. GUSHER. First smell is infected too. Orange with small head, lots of sediment. Nose is alcoholic, boozy, sweet malts, leather. Taste is sweet malts, fruits, caramel, bit vanilla, brandy, light oily.

Clear orange beer, big solid creamy dense off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of bourbon, vanilla, oxidation, honey, some orange peel, sourish touch. MF: very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty bitter, bit oxidized, sweet bourbon notes, vanilla, some honey, alcohol. Aftertaste: oxidized, bitter touch, more alcohol, bourbon, vanilla notes, orange peel, bit sourish, sweet, malty, bit sweetish.

Sample, huge gusher due to that hopbell... golden yellow, small head. Aroma is stale, some citrus, hops, malt. Taste is the same, long aftertaste, sweet and bitter. meh not for me.

F: huge, light tan, long lasting. C: deep gold, light hazy. A: malty, honey, fruity, spicy, yeasty, bit of orange peels, camomile. T: malty, fruity, honey, orange peels, bit of spicy, yeasty, coriander, light oily mouthfeel, alcohol, medium to full body, medium to high carbonation, better than expected, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from Carrefour market – St. Michel @ Etterbeek, Brussels.
