Bottle from the lcbo. Cloudy yellow/orange pour, with a small white head. Aroma is spicy, vegetal, very light fruit, and a lot of grasses and minerals. Mouth feel and carb are spot on. Medium bitterness, very grassy, and green finish. Floral and spicy, solid cereals, interesting beer. A bitter, floral lager..

bottle from the LCBO.
Dark brown, pretty much black pour, with a large beige head. Aroma is quite robust, lots of strong roast, coffee, hints of soy. Full bodied, soft carb. The maple doesnt add much i find other than a soft sweetness in the finish that mingles well with the strong roast, coffee, and bitter cocoa notes. Medium bitterness, quite nice.

Bottle from the lcbo. Dark brown pour, with a medium beige head. Aroma is quite strong on the caramel side, lots of solid cereals, some light grasses. This is super malty, but it's still quite lightly bodied. Light bitterness, big malts, quite nice.

Hazy golden pour with a huge white head. So looking at the list of spices they added to this beer, they basically added a curry blend. So this explains the strong curry Aroma and flavour I'm getting. Specifically the cumin and fenugreek stick out. Lovely wheat and spicy finish. Low bitterness, and very floral. Interesting beer. Not sure I could drink more than a bottle though.

Intense gold pour, with a large white head. Full bodied malts, grassy saaz, great cereals. Mouth feel is great, carb is good. Finish is medium bitter, grassy, light pine, bitter, and slightly pithy. Clean, crisp, refreshing with an edge. Great stuff.

Bottle from the lcbo. Pours a Cloudy copper with a medium light beige head. Aroma is tart and fruity with some nice cereals. Light spice, cranberry is prevalent, but there are some other soft berry notes. The oat adds a nice solid mouth feel, and a soft carb. Medium bitterness, crisp and tart finish with some solid cranberry. Decent.

Very malty, but sweet and slightly fruity. Notes of cocoa, and coffee, with hints of dark berries. Good mouth feel, solid carb. Finish is medium bitter, loads of roast, sweet and very robust. Really nice example of a big foreign stout.

Blonde pour, medium white head. Roasty Aroma, lots of nice coffee notes, pale malts, light grass. Low to medium bitterness, more coffee and light nutty roast. Very interesting take on the style.... But can we really call this a stout?
