Description
Like so many enthusiastic beer seekers, the creators of Fidens found themselves traveling all over to discover new beers and exciting breweries. As their love of craft beer and the brewing process grew they started on a small rig in the garage. Over time they brought their talents together and established the Fidens Brand at the end of 2019. The idea was simple, to open a small brewery locally where they would offer a quality product like those in their travels.

16 ounce can thanks to Mike B. Shared at Brother's Pizza in Hamilton, NJ. Cloudy orange gold pour. Aromas of sweet citrus and strawberry. Flavor is more of the same. Soft, clinging mouthfeel. Some booziness in middle. Flavorful and tasty.

Canned 5/4/26, drunk 7/22/26. Compliments of tfontana. Thanks, Tom!
Smells rich and fruity but also rather sweet and the lactose is not exactly subtle here. The vanilla is, though, and it helps soften and round things. Acidity is low-to-moderate, not punchy.
Sweet, rich, creamy, but not chunky. These fruited kettle sours are always a tall order...don't wanna be too thick and sweet, but you also don't want it to be thin and overacidic. I think this one finds a decent balance, and the fruit flavors are lovely, as is the interaction with the vanilla. Maybe a touch less sweetness would improve this, but this is very respectable nonetheless.

20oz of straight pulp. Excellent nose. Really floral and fruity but super approachable. Peaches and orange blossom and mango. Flavor has wheat and a little cheese curd but then lovely peach and mango. Finishes with a little hop burn, but otherwise crazy drinkable. 8 9 8 7 8

Can (4/27/26) from the brewery. Opaque orange juice, tons of sparkle, thin head with excellent retention, light lacing. Aroma is strong tangerine, citrus and faint grape. Taste is strong tangerine, orchard fruit, alcohol backdrop (less as it warms). Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, pleasant esophageal alcohol warmth. Good taste and flavor though not complex. Alcohol, while not unpleasant, not as well hidden as other offerings.

16oz can from their anniversary party. Pours a murky, seltzery, spritzy pink with some fizzy white head. Nose is nice, plenty of strawberry, I get the guava too, some papaya as well, some fruit roll up. Flavors mostly follow. There is a wheaty character and some salinity at the back end. Just off dry, medium bodied and fairly soft. A lick of acid but not a ton.
