Just what the Dr ordered in hot weather. Better than the other bottom fermented stuff on offer around here

Dark brown, no head. On the nose, some dark fruits and smokiness, both signifying some deeper malt notes. On the palate, it's different. There's like this smoky fig note, but not as tasty as that probably sounds. More towards a harsher well done steak sort of charred umami but not in a good way.

330mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Nose brings out medium roasted malt, a touch of honey, and light cocoa. Flavour is a little messy, with gentle wildflower honey, medium roast, and alcohol. A little jumbled and messy, but the flavours are interesting and powerful. Solid stuff.
