Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, funky grass - leather, plastic. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, yeast. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20130817]

Bottle @ Home. Pours golden with a white head, some floaties. Aroma of malt, wheat, yeast, light lemon, little sour. Flavor is malt, yeast, sourness, light lemon, light metallic. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. 200115

Bottle shared at Craig’s. Pours clear pale yellow with a creamy white head. The aroma holds dry paper and lemon rind. Light sweet flavor with more papery pale malts, dried lemon, grain, hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Dry and papery finish. Meh.

Cloudy dark amber color with no head (I didn’t expect sediment in this beer). Light aroma of milk chocolate. Some caramel flavor, moderate sweetness, some yeast, regular bitterness, some vegetable bitterness too; the mouthfeel is a bit oily; the final is a bit nutty, and there is some gentle alcohol warmth.
Tastes like 12% ABV, and it can’t possibly be anything above 18-20% ABV.

Das Bier hat eine rötlichbraune Farbe und wenig beigen Schaum. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, hopfig, etwas dünn. Geschmack röstmalzig, bittere Schokolade, hopfig, würzig.

Tap @ Cockney. Hazy amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, spices, pumpkin and cinnamon. Flavour is malt, caramel, spices, pumpkin, cinnamon, sweet and a little bitter.

330ml bottle shared between 5 at the tenth Shrewsbury Bottle Share, Dec 14. Thanks to Blackhaddock. Pours hazy with a fair carbonation. Taste is sour lemonade & spiced honey. Was never going to be the beer of the night but interesting enough.
