Bottle, 5.8%. Unclear dark amber/brown with big tan head. Aroma is maly, nites of butter, caramel, toasted, smoke and wheat. Flavour is malt, caramel, smoke, medium sweet, yeast, hop, wheat, little bitter, spices, toasted and a little butter.

Enda en kompetent deltager i Kvicklys Ølfestivalg. Kjøpt på Kvickly Nørrebro. En helt ok havrestout selv om jeg ikke kjenner så mye til havren, som burde gitt seg utslag i større munnfylde. Men en god og på alle måter drikkbar stout, dog nokså anonym.

Flaske fra Kvickly Nørrebro, på hytta: brunrød rav med flott skum som varer. Maltdrevet aroma og smak, med noe vanilje og lakris. Mild bitterhet og myk avslutning. Den femte til å rate denne, og med sin Ølfestivalg er utvalget på Kvickly bedre enn vanlig.

Hazy dark amber, offwhite froth. Aroma has malt, fruity hoppy notes and yeast. Sweetish flavour, more malt, sweet caramel finishing on a sourish, weird candy note.

Bottle @ Home. Pours black with a creamy light brown head. Aroma of malt, coffee, grain, dark chocolate. Flavor is light sweet, malty, grain, coffee, chocolate, caramel. Medium body, lively carbonation, light bitter finish. 100715

clear brown, smooth light brown head. faint chili herbal note, faint licorice, some mildly roasted malts. Flavor is well dosed chili , faint licorice, roasted malts, hops are low. I think the chili and licorice is well dosed, and the base beer is almost flavorful enough to make it work. One of the better chili licorice porters.

Bottle. Ctremy White good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy and yeasty aroma. Molasse dominating. Light bitter ugly flavor. Burned molasse/plastic notes. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate. Not good.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chilis, roasted malt, and a bit of liquorice. The flavor is sweet with notes of chili, roasted malt, and liqourice, leading to a dry roasted finish, where the chlii burns a bit.
