Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Tahsin. Pours clear honey-gold with a creamy, pure white topping. Medium sweet flavour, a bit sugary, some simple white bread, nips of caramel and paper. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sugary sweet finish, some sun-kissed grains. A bit too sweet overall.

500 ml green bottle, shared with my son, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.6%. Pale golden colour, large to moderate white head. Malty ang grassy aroma. The flavour has some malty sweetness and tolerable herbal hops. Decent body for the style.

Im Glas macht dieses Bier einen richtig tollen Eindruck. Tiefgoldgelb und klar mit kräftiger feiner bis mittelgrober Perlage. Das wirkt sehr lebhaft. Die weiße, fein- bis mittelporige Schaumkrone hat einen flaumigen Charakter und ist mäßig haltbar. Der Duft kommt sehr angenehm getreidig, brotig und leicht röstig. Im Antrunk wirkt dieses Bier weniger frisch und weniger spritzig als erwartet. Dafür aber süßlich-getreidig und leicht röstig. Der Mittelteil wird ebenfalls von einer süßlichen und getreidigen Note dominiert. Die leicht trockene Hopfennote hält sich dabei aber zu sehr im Hintergrund. So wirkt dieses Bier eher schwerfällig und unausgewogen. Mundgefühl und Süffigkeit sind als "reserviert" zu betrachten. Im Nachtrunk darf man den getreidigen Charakter ganz ohne Süße wahrnehmen. Jedoch flacht die Aromatik rasch ab. Fazit: Kräftige Aromatik ja, aber bitte nicht so unausgewogen.
