Description
Opening its production and tap room doors in October of 2011, NoDa Brewing Company has since become one of the Charlotte area’s winningest breweries – with silver and gold medals from the Great American Beer Festival and the World Beer Cup.

With a collective passion for home brewing and exemplary craft beer, Suzie Ford (President & Co-Founder), Todd Ford (Vice President & Co-Founder), and Chad Henderson (Head Brewer & Co-Owner) teamed up to create a craft brewing identity that would connect to and grow alongside their beloved city of Charlotte. Since opening in the spring of 2011, NoDa Brewing Company received a warm welcome and has since expanded to three locations (The OG, NorthEnd, and the CLT airport) and continues to be one of the crown jewels of the Queen City.

16 oz can shared with DCLawyer. Courtesy of a friend, thanks Ben! Poured into a tulip. Canned 10/6/2016. Mostly clear golden yellow with off-white head. Aromas of citrus fruit and peel, floral, light pine. Tastes of citrus, floral, pine, light tropical fruit. Medium body with a dry finish.

The brewery has changed both the recipe and the style on this one. First sampled at the source, then at Oktoberfest at The Shore Club in Tega Cay SC. Hazy pale yellow color, small white head. Aroma of light citrus bubblegum. Taste is light lemon, light body. I like the old one better.

Draft at the source. Opaque very dark brown color drnse briwn head with good retention and solid lacing see pic please. Candied raspberry aroma on a generally roasty background. Taste is sweet raspberry coffee vanilla subtle booze. Nice sipper or finisher.

Draft at the source. 2016 version. Jet black color big brown head. Aroma of burnt licorice and fruity coffee and vanilla. Taste is burnt dark chocolate and espresso with more vanilla. Warming finish. Tasty.

Rerate 5/30/17, 7% version. Clear golden yellow color scant white head. Fruity aroma. Taste is lightly tart lemon, dry finish. 7-3-7-3-11-3.1
