Grohe Smoky Heiner, Fläschchen aus dem Brauereiverkauf in Darmstadt. - Kastanienrot, leicht trüb; üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase warm karamellig-toastiges Malz mit satter doch dezenter Rauchnote und frisch zitronigen Hopfenspitzen. - Antrunk weich toastmalzig mit deutlicher doch milder Rauchigkeit: ein wenig Schinken, kein Fisch. Milde karamellige Malzsüße, fein zitrusfruchtige Hopfung. Durchschnittlich rezent, leicht (um nicht zu sagen: dünn). - Aromatisch-rundes, süffiges Rauchbier, etwas für Einsteiger (und Angsthasen). Grohe Bock, vom Faß im Brauereiausschank in Darmstadt. - Dunkel kupferrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase dichtes dunkles Karamelmalz und dezente Hopfenherbe, bocktypisch schwer. - Antrunk satt toastmalzig und dunkelmalzig mit nussiger und feiner herbaler Herbe. Milder rezent, sämig, gut kaschierter Alkohol. Im Abgang frische hopfige Herbe. - Schön frischer, kernig malziger Bock, wie ein stärkeres Märzen. (7.10.2019.)

Grohe Märzen, vom Faß im Brauereiausschank in Darmstadt. - Tiefes Kupferrot, klar. - In der Nase aromatisches dunkles Malz und hintergründige hopfenwürzige Herbe. - Antrunk mild dunkelmalzig und kernig karamelmalzig mit dezenter, leicht krautiger Hopfenherbe mit zitrusfruchtigen Spitzen. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang leicht trocken und kräftig malzbitter mit feiner Hopfenherbe. - Angenehmes, kernig malziges Märzen mit solider Hopfung. (7.10.2019.)

Botle during ABC. Hazy pinik color with medium off- white head. Aroma of grapes, hibiscus. Nice fruity taste with grapes, hibiscus, spices. Nice one.

Bottle thanks to hauxe. Pours dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma of toffee or caramel candy - sort of off-putting. Taste is toffee, hint of berries, some maltiness. Faint smoke, possibly. Kind of strange overall.
