Gjennomgang av notater. Fra fat på Beerhouse on Long, Cape Town. lett uklar med fint skum som varer. Mild citrus, banan, tyggis og hint av nellik. Fikk denne som en ekstra da jeg påpekte at den ene ølen jeg hadde fått var tydeligvis slutten av fatet grumset og nesten udrikkelig). Men denne hadde mersmak, og servicen på Beerhouse er upåklagelig.

Tap at Smith Street Taps, Singapore. Poured a hazy dark reddish brown colour, with a mostly lasting frothy, off white head. The aroma is light yeasty, mineral, herbal, red berry fruits. The flavour is light sour, with a smooth, mineral, light tart blackberry palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not bad but not inspirational. Drinkable and refreshing when served cold.

On tap at Smith Street Taps in Singapore, pours a murky amber, creamy off white head. Nose has berries and chocolate, bread, some jam. Flavor is quite different, bread, malt, cracker, more dried berry than jam. Finishes dry. Odd. 7 4 7 4 13

Tap at the Freehouse, Singapore. Poured a hazy medium amber colour with a mostly lasting thin white head. The aroma is grainy malt, yeasty, banana. The flavour is acid, citrus fruits, with a yeasty, banana, bubble gum, light clove spice palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. I’m sure the pixies adore this flavourful summer beer!
