Dark brown color with white head. Black IPA-like. Malts and hops. The hops are more sweetly fruity and the malts don’t take over. Rather low carbonation. Black IPAs are usually not my cup of tea, but this is well-brewed and I kinda like it better!

Trübe pinkrote Farbe, wenig pinker Schaum. geruch säuerlich fruchtig, holzig, pelzig. Geschmack sauer fruchtig, malzig, holzig, rote Beeren, wässrig säuerliches Ende.

Milchig trübes goldgelbes Bier mit sehr wenig weißem Schaum. Geruch nach Gewürzen, fruchtig, hefig, Citrus. Geschmack würzig bitter, Citrus, etwas Hefe, hopfig, leider fehlt die Kohlensäure, dennoch nett!

Leicht trübe goldene Farbe, sehr viel weißer Schaum. Geruch sehr grasig hopfig, fruchtig, bitter. Geschmack sehr hopfig fruchtig, kräftig malzig, grasig bitter, floral, harzig.

Leicht trübes hell goldgelbes Bier mit einer sehr geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig, grasig, Kräuter. Geschmack säuerlich fruchtig, Kraut, gering hopfig, gar nicht gut!

Leicht trübes dunkelgoldenes Bier mit einer sehr aktiven und großen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr fruchtig, Heidelbeeren, Blaubeeren, leicht malzig. Geschmack malzig süß, fruchtig, Waldbeeren, aber nicht so stark süß wie in anderen Mischgetränken, ok!

250 ml. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambiek Fontainas. Orange, lightly hazy, small pretty solid white head. Nose is heavy on pine resin, lots of bark, light floral, lots of pine. Taste is pine resin, oily, very dry, lots of peel, light floral, quite bitter, faint biscuit, lots of pine. Med. Body, very dry. Not my favorite kind of IPA but decent all the same.

Draft @ ML Fontainas. Léger orangé, col épais crémeux blanc-cassé. Arôme aux houblons fruités tirant sur un léger côté agrume et un rétro herbacé. Palais reste houblonné avec un fruité agréable pour une amertume modérée. Citronné-agrumes Pointe de houblon noble reste présente avec un léger fini herbacé. Le tout sur un malté carapils, cara et Munich, fin garde un léger côté fruité entre agrumes-pamplemousse. Encore une fois, rien de bien spécial au niveau découverte IPA si ce n’est un houblonné fruité qui semble plus de la partie que les versions antérieures.

750 ml. bottle sampled @ Vini, Birre, Ribelli 2014. Golden, bubbles on the side. Mildly milky yeast nose, spices. Taste is yeasty, milky with spices, kitchen spices,… Yeasty body. Another beer that is just way too dominated by yeast for me even if there is nothing particularily wrong with it.
