0.33l bottle. Pours a clear pale golden body with a small white lager-head. Aroma is light grainy with some unfortunate cereal-notes, dusty hops and some sour hints. Light oily to watery mouthfeeling and average carbonation. It also tastes light grainy with pale malts, light grassy hops and light bitter and crisp finish. Guess you can say that this was a OK boring macro lager.

50cl bottle. Pours golden with a good head. The nose has gentle sweet malt and citrus. The taste has malt with a big lemon/lime note. The palate has a medium body and texture with a zingy finish. Overall, a very good pils.

Bottle @ home shared with DutchDrebus. Truely nothing interesting to say about this beer. Not good, not very bad. Completely standard weizen.

Golden beer with a almost medium and white head. Aroma is pure, pilsener malts, some grass and grain field. Taste is malty, some grass, only little of bitterness. Quite light body, nice carbonation and smooth to drink. Nothing special, still pure Pils without annoying nuancees, also smooth and nice to drink.

50cl bottle. Pours golden yellow with steady bubbles and a very generous head. The nose has sweet banana and a creaminess. The taste is more of the same, maybe banana going into custard. The palate is medium bodied and thick textured with a clean finish. Overall a tastey beer and excellent with spicey food.

Classic clear golden yellow color. Smells not very nice, but a regular decent taste. Very low body and carbo though.

Draft at Bavarian Lodge. This confirms what I already suspected: If you really want to enjoy a "fine Pilsner beer" (piss on that, Lite!), you gotta get the German or Czech ones fresh from a keg at a beer bar that knows its stuff. Not an import bottle. This totally rules. Poured in a 22 oz. "stein" glass, it shows a clear pils color with more brass than any megabrew. The first sniff has some funk to it, a bit of a surprise. The taste hits with German hops dominating: peppery and slightly herbal. Malt is much quieter, almost subdued. A bracing hit of pure beer. Updated to acknowledge that this is my 100th German beer rated! My second most-rated country after the US! But with Belgium a close third.

Bottle. Very sweet banana and clove aroma. Cloudy pale yellow color with minimal head. Cloyingly sweet banana flavor with clove and wheat malt flavor. A sugar-bomb.

Pale golden colour, white head. Aroma malty, slight bitter, floral hops. For some reason also a bit reminding of dust. Flavour is malty, slight sweetness but bitter and dry. Crisp and quite OK.

Bottle. Banana and chocolate malt aroma - very nice. Cloudy dark brown color with nice head - the darkest dunkelweizen I’ve ever seen. Banana, clove and molasses/chocolate malt flavor. Nice body. Excellent.
