Cask handpull at Brew Wharf, Borough Market. Deep ruby colour with lasting beige head. Choccy caramel. Some nice hop on aroma. Fullish in mouth, nice choc flavours. It’s quite a good strong dark bitter. Very impressive and the best of their beers so far.

Cask handpull at Brew Wharf, , London Xmas Pub Crawl. Hazy pale copper colour. Toffee hop earthy aroma, bit wet in the body as Maeib might say. Could do with a bit more oomph. Pleasant enough though. I just hope that this brewery continues to improve its products.

Draught at the Brew Wharf, London
Hazy golden color. In the aroma, some fruity hops. The mouthfeel lacks some structure, but the hopping is quite good. Quite different from the English ones, I would treasure the hop and improve the malt impact. The final is a bit watery.

Hazy blond color. The aroma is quite fruity (ripe pears), a bit soapy. The mouthfeel is soft, there is some residual sweetness; the bitterness is correct, the emotions are missing…

Handpull at Brew Wharf, Borough. According to the barman, this was the first day that they had sold this beer. They intend to brew 2 beers, one hopped with Goldings and one with Fuggles. Gold colour with no head. Nice distinctive Goldings aroma which is floral and with some toffee. Bit thin in mouth, very little carbonation. Floral aromatic hop finish is nice though. The body of the beer needs some work. Re-rate 06/12/05 This has got better. Citrus flowery hop aroma. Fine in mouth, some biscuit. Quite sharpo in mouth with drying tangy hop. Very astringent hop finish
