Description
It was in 2001 that Hugues and Geneviève Rabourdin, farmer brewers in Seine et Marne, created the brewery and produced Bière de Brie with barley from the farm. Hubert and Estelle Rabourdin took up the family adventure of the Ferme Brasserie Rabourdin in 2009 and in 2010 created a new range of beer recipes: La Briarde. In 2015 Hubert and Estelle set up the new brewery in the old grain silo of Courpalay, a remarkable site.

330ml bottle from Monoprix, Versailles. Misty golden amber pour with a large white head. A disappointing saison, given such a fancy bottle. Tired malt, no saison yeast, no sweetness, just a very boring beer that bears no resemblance to a saison at all.

The 6th & last of the bottles I collected from the brewery in Courpalay a couple of years ago. The 750ml bottle was perfect for a Friday evening. ABV is 7.5. This Ambree was really a biere de garde with lots of malt. Very enjoyable! Different bottle of beer in my home No. 1951

A classical Belgian dry ale, close to the Pelforth blonde, but this one is better, malty, dry, a bit fruity and hoppy, at the final, 07.11.2018, drinking it in my hotel room, Mercure, Paris Gare de Lyon, buying it at the carrefour rue de Lyon, Paris.
