Bottle at the Tesco near Plzen. Very murky apricot body with a thick white head. Nice dusty lactic nose, cloves and light agrumes. Lovely sweet malty taste, some agrumes, banana and caramel. A very good, true to style Hefeweizen coming from the Czech Republic. Who would’ve thought.

0.5 l bottle Doggythedog brought from Plzen, thanks a lot! Of course, it poured murky golden body with bigger creamy white head. Typical weizen aroma - yeasty with components of banana, some orange, spiced with cloves. It’s sweetish, yeasty , dominated by banana and other esters fruity flavors. Pretty full bodied, low carbonated, finishing with long honeyish sweetness. Typical and good German-style weizen beer.

500ml bottle from Tesco, Plzen. Clear gold, thin white head. No huge aroma. Bit of toast maybe. No bad flavours in mouth. Too much metallic carbonation. Still it beats the crap out of Carling, Becks Vier etc. A little hard on the bubbles, but has some soft creaminess. Some hop on end even. fine.

From tap at Pivovarsky Klub as Nachod Weizen Psenicne. Pours hazy yellow to orange with creamy white head. Dry estery wheat aroma, not much fruit here. Flavour is bubblegum yeasty and dry esters with a mild wheaty note showing through. Ends dry wheaty and mild yeasty.

(33 cl bottle at a bar in Prague)On June 25, 2008BB 14.01.09Clear copper color, very big and lasting fluffy head. Fruity, hoppy and sweet scent. Fruity and metallic taste. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Hoppy aftertaste.I might be overrating this since it was my first ale after plenty of more or less nice lagers, but I really did like it that day.

Bottled. Golden colour with mediumsized creamy white head. Aroma is grassy and slightly bready malts. Flavour is nice yeasty/fruity notes which turn into quite bready malts just to be a big grassyness in the finish. A pleasant beer.
