draught at Pivovarsky Klub Praha, October 26th, 2008. A brand new beer made by Primator - after their EPA another top-fermented beer. Very dark colour, nearly black, with a very creamy and persistent beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee and some shy smoke notes. Medium- tofull-bodied, this stout is full of flavours, very well combined. Roasetd malt, caramel, coffee, dark and bitter chocolate, raisins. Not too sweet and not too dry, perfectly balanced. A suberb brew! Looking forward to the bottled version.

Bottle, shared by a kind soul at the Danish Summer Gathering 2008. It pours a hazy, golden-orange body under a nice white head. Banana, cloves, lemon notes and a little grainy touch in the aroma. The flavor is much the same, with sweetness and some bitterness added. Medium, effervescent mouthfeel, and a finish with some bitterness to go with the banana and cloves. A nice Czech specimen. Dunkel malzig klebriger und sehr süßer Geruch. Malziger und extrem süßer Antrunk, künstlich wirkend. Bananig, pricklend, schwarz.

Leicht bitterer Abgang, weiter malzig. Lieblos. Test vom 11.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 6,6,5,8,7,5 - 5,80

Leicht hopfiger Antrunk, schwach malzig geprägt. Leicht bananig süß, mild cremiger Abgang, mild und malzig-herb. Nicht sehr starkes Bier, dennoch angenehm. Im Abgang etwas kräftiger und leicht röstig. Test vom 11.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,10,10,11,12,11 - 10,75

Bottle from Tesco, Prague. Orange coloured with no head. Strange aroma of boston beans and caramel. Flavour of caramel, with some grassy hops and a slightly bitter finish. Odd.

Bottle from Tesco, Prague. Coke coloured with no head. Aroma of burnt malts and prunes. Flavour was sweet with plenty of dark fruit and chocolate. Finish was dominated by overly prominent, burning alcohol.

Bottle from Tesco, Prague. Deep amber in colour with a moderate white head and decent carbonation. Malt aroma with a touch of red fruit. Flavour started sweet, before some doughy malt, a hint of spice and a decent bitter finish. Good.

Bottle, thx to papsoe. Pours a pale golden body with a small white head. Cereals, cooked vegetables and some fruityness in the aroma. Cooked vegetables, grains and sweetness in the flavor, finishing grainy and fruity. Thin mouthfeel. Sure not a very good low alcohol, I think I’m being nice giving it a 1.5 score. (080823)
