Bottled 0,5l. Ruby red color. A disappearing head. Sweet aroma, sweet malty flavor and sweet bitterness in the aftertaste. Re-rate 28 Aug 09: Probably the same beer labeled Primátor Premium Dark bought at Systembolaget in Kiruna, Sweden. Additional comments: Some caramel in the aroma. Notes of coffee & chocolate in the flavor. Old rating: 3 - 3 - 3 - 4 - 10

Bottle: Deep golden coloured, medium-sized, quickly diminishing white head; sweet, grainy, watery nose, some fruitiness detectable; delicate sweet, only slightly bitter flavour, light bodied. Not really bad, but rather bland and "near to water"................

Dark brown color. Pretty good doppelbock, malty enough, quite sweet; caramel; traces of roasted nuts. Balanced sweetness/bitterness and doesn’t show too much the alcohol content. Yet, not enough aromatic nor complex.

Bottle brought home from Prague, purchased at "Pivni Gallerie". Label sais "Primator Double 24% Tmavy Porter". Dark ruby red color, big lasting beige head. Strong alcoholic scent, sweet with some liquorice. Very big body. Sweet and a bit red wine in the taste. The sugary sweet is dominant in the taste. Low bitterness.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark brown with an orangey glow and a creamy, beige head leaving some laces. Sweetish aroma of roasted malt. Very full body - huge body - with tons of roasted malt and a lightly burned edge. Sweet - cloyingly sweet. Like a Danish "Hvidtøl" on mescaline. Basically no bitterness. Quite inharmonious. 290406

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, fully golden with a creamy, white head. Aroma of malt and alcohol. Very full-bodied with a solid, malty base. Bitter finish with distinct alcohol - way too distinct. 290406

Bottled (room temperature)
Hazy yellow, firm off-white head. Leather and wheat in the nose. Medium-bodied. Flavor has butterscotch and roasted banana. Quite tasty, drinkable hefeweizen and very German.

500ml bottle brought back from Prague. Very deep ruby colour with thin lasting beige head. Very vinous in the mouth with plenty of heat and lots of fruit. Sweet blackberry, damson and plum. Choc and fruit on the aroma. Port like in mouth with lots of warming dark fruits with a touch of choc. Quite a stunning beer actually. Amazingly alcoholic but full of flavour. I agree with maeib, this is an excellent nightcap.
