Bottled (on back: Primátor Pivo Tmavý lezák, on front: Primátor Velikonocní lezák). Dark rubyish amber colour, big beige head. Roasted malts, caramel and some diacetyl in aroma. Flavour starts caramelly and sugary sweet and then goes towards a maltyness and finally some hoppy bitterness. The sweetness gets to a point almost annoying after the beer gets warmer, so enjoy cold to avoid extra sweetness. While cold it’s quite wellbalanced in my opinion. Due to label it looks like an Easter Beer. Also flavour is Eastery. Rich carbonation.

Labelled as Primátor Pivo tmavý lezák, Velikonocni lezak, bottled (BB 02/2007)
This looks like an Easter special, different label than in RB - with Easter eggs. Dark ruby color, mostly vanishing tan head. Roasted, caramelly malty and diacetylic (more or less "good way") aroma. Starts caramelly and sweet but then more dry with roasted malty notes. In the finish bitterness, in the aftertaste even some hops. Unbalanced, sweetish, but still drinkable.

Bottle at Sunday Times Wine Festival, London. Cloudy gold, with lasting white head. Very nice wheat aroma, using a Munich yeast apparently. Unfiltered. Good cereal throughout. Bit of banana and clove.

Bottle at Sunday Times Wine Festival, London. On the bumpf this was down as a "semi-dark beer". Not sure what that means. Looked and tasted like a Vienna to me. However, I liked it. Dark caramel/red colour with beige head. Toffee/caramel aroma. Fine in mouth, more caramel, finish is a bit sweet. Not too much hop. Good caramel/malt beer.

Bottle at Sunday Times Wine Festival, London. Deep gold, sparse white head. Creamier than the premium beer, alcohol makes it thicker, good malt. Smooth in mouth. Good strong European lager. Finish has some sweet lemon dryness.

Bottle at Sunday Times Wine Festival, London. Thanks to the guy behind the stand for all of his help with these beers. Golden beer with thin white head. Nice hop aroma, mouth has good cereal, hoppy bite on finish. Quite a good premium golden lager

Light gold color. Large, thin head that fades and leaves a lace. Light herbal hop aroma. Flavor has some very light metal that isn’t bad. Refreshing and crisp. One of the most heavily hopped Czech eers I have found. Aftertaste of bread. Canned.

Little head over fully clear gold. Banana ester, pale malts, straw & chaff in the nose. Superb dry pale malts and grist taste, great. Light, appropriate MF. Very good dry pilsener, but not very hoppy.

Small light brown creamy head, subsides quickly into thin ring. Seemingly black body, but really dark red. Sweet, perfumed roasty aroma with strong toffee notes. Extremely sweet toffee taste with roasty coffee notes. An excellent bock.

Huge white creamy head over hazy yellow body. Sweetish banana wheat aroma with faint hints of rubber. Sweet, milky wheat taste with banana notes. Some carbonation in the mouth. Quite good, a bit different.
