Description
Following years of intense and hedonistic imbibing and brewing in pursuit of delicious ales, Head Brewer Kevin Brady invites you to share the indigenous experience. Kevin has been brewing since 2011 and having successfully showcased some of his beers at local village events, he has now set up his own Micro Brewery in the village of Chaddleworth, West Berkshire. The focus is on producing hand crafted ales on a relatively small scale that offer something a little different.

Bottle ordered from Inn At Home, Newbury. Aroma is doughy with chocolate and underlying sweet berries. Chestnut. Thick foamy off-white head. Medium sour berries, followed by a bitter grainy woody core. The sourness returns for the home straight. Light-medium bodied. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long astringent finish. Decent bitter bitter with a temperamental sour streak.

Third by cask, shared with Finn on the third day of GBBF Winter 20, Iron Bridge Bar. Coal black body, small sized beige head leaving spotty lacing behind. Dark malt-driven smell, lightly spiced. Nutty chocolate flavours, ashy. Spiced mid-sweet malty ending, mildly roasted. Nice and fine bodied. (Birmingham 06.02.2020).
