Bottle shared in W2 - thanks to Daniel. Gusher! Pours brown with a frothy tan head. Tangy dark malts on the nose, burnt grains, leathery berries. Light sweet flavor with rounded ripe, lightly tangy berry character, leather, earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with semi-dark malts, more tangy and leathery berries. Really, not that bad.

Cask at the Alehouse, Reading. An amber colour with a ring of white head; aroma of ripe dessert apples; orchard fruit taste with lots of English hops; then a dry finish with a prolonged fresh leafy bitterness. A solid bitter - and not "twiggy" at all.
