Description
For over a century, Aujan has produced some of the Middle East and North Africa’s most beloved beverage brands. A passion for high quality products and innovation helped the company grow to become the region’s largest independent beverage manufacturer.

In 2012, this success was recognized by The Coca-Cola Company when it formed a partnership with Aujan’s beverage business. Recognized as the largest investment by a multinational firm into a regional FMCG company, this partnership led to the creation of a new world class company: The Aujan Coca-Cola Beverages Company (ACCBC).

As the partnership between Aujan and The Coca-Cola Company enters a new era, we are focused on extending our market leading position in current markets while unlocking new international opportunities further afield. Recent examples are the acquisition of NBC, the Coca-Cola bottler in Lebanon, our significantly increased market presence in Algeria and Ethiopia and the decision to build a new state of the art factory in Cairo, Egypt.

Rani, Barbican and Vimto are truly regional super brands, holding top-three positions in still beverages in every country where they are sold, but with so many young people in the region there is plenty of room for further growth. This is why we will continue to invest into different areas of the business, from R&D innovation, manufacturing and technology, through to our people, customers, and the community.

Building on the shared heritage of Aujan and The Coca-Cola Company, ACCBC can rightly look forward to a very bright future.

UAE tick thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a fading white head and a clear yellow body. Aroma is corn and grassy with some sweet fruit. Taste is water with corn and dough. No Hops. Is this really beer? Lightish carbonation, thin as to be expected.

Bottled at RBESG 2008. Thanks Per for this new country. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of brewmash, malt, and a bit of hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, cardboard, and brewmash. The body is no wonder thin.

Dark blond color, small head. Light malt aroma, more cereals flavor, with light sweetness, but the bitterness is a bit harsh. Poor.

Bottle. Sweet barley malt aroma - pleasant. Pale yellow with minimal head. Sweet light barley malt flavor - palate actually nice for a NA. The first rating I’ve been able to do this year - probably a bit too kind but really not a horrible NA.

Bottle thanks to Signe for bringing this home. (Another bottle went to jeppe at Ølbutikken). Frothy white fair mostly deminishing head. Dark yellow colour. Moderate malty light hoppy aroma. Moderate sweet and light bitter flavor. Short finish. Very watery palate. Actually some nice malt notes, but still not good.

Re-rate 2/15: Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks kerenmk. Clear pale golden with no head. Aroma of paper, skunk and a bit of vegetables. Sweetish flavor, a bit sugary, papery, with a non-existent finish. Really thin, leaves a vacuum in the mouth. Bad, but at least doesn’t leave any bad taste in the mouth.2/2/3/1/6= 1.4

(6/29/08) Bottle sample at RBESG08 grand tasting in Plzen. Golden-colored. Aroma of corn. Sweetish and slightly chemical flavor of cereals. Really thin. 2/2/2/1/3=1
