Description
Welcome to Laht Neppur! Nestled at the foothills of the Blue Mountains in Waitsburg, Washington, we are big supporters of good beer. Whether you’re a Backseat Blonde ale kind of person, or you’re more in to darker beer, like the Brown Nut, we’ve got something for you.

Not into beer? It’s okay. We’ll let it slide. Laht Neppur Cellars produces excellent wine. Or try our mead, Sweet Cider from Blue Mountain Cider, or our newest tap selection, Dry Cider from Freewater Cider. Plus, home-brewed root beer is always kegged and ready to go for the designated drivers or the kids. Why not make it a float!

We’re the kind of people who believe in peanut shells on the floor, good beer on tap, and yummy food on the grill. Stop in, say hi, and “Drink to Life!”

Thanks to JohnGalt1 for his outstanding beer hunting skills. He brings us a couple Laht Neppur brews back in mason jars how awesome is that?? Pours out a cloudy gold topped with a white head. Aroma was berries, cream, light hop note, some sweetness, and a little caramel malt. Taste was more of the berries, caramel, vanilla, and that light hop touch.

Cloudy and tan coloured. Smells like root beer, or at least a root beer popsicle. Sweet, mega-herbal, minty brew complex with wintergreen and earthiness. Nice minty finish. Not much wormwood character, at least compared to the other wormwood beer I’ve had. Though, if there’s no hops, there was still bitterness. Anyway, an interesting brew that I liked.

Growler: Pours a rich, dark brown with some tan head. Nose is mostly roasted malt and coffee, hints of cocoa. The taste is very strong of coffee and roasted malt, light chocolate notes. Bittersweetness like baker’s chocolate. Creamy and smooth on the way down, lingering coffee/roasted finish. Thanks to Jordan for sharing.

Growler Very dark brown with a very small light tan head. Mostly straight forward dark roasted aroma. Smokey campfire flavors with some slightly sweet roasted notes as well. A light-medium weight stout that leaves a bit of a burnt bitterness on the trailer. Thanks Jordan for bringing this back.
