Description
Welcome to Laht Neppur! Nestled at the foothills of the Blue Mountains in Waitsburg, Washington, we are big supporters of good beer. Whether you’re a Backseat Blonde ale kind of person, or you’re more in to darker beer, like the Brown Nut, we’ve got something for you.

Not into beer? It’s okay. We’ll let it slide. Laht Neppur Cellars produces excellent wine. Or try our mead, Sweet Cider from Blue Mountain Cider, or our newest tap selection, Dry Cider from Freewater Cider. Plus, home-brewed root beer is always kegged and ready to go for the designated drivers or the kids. Why not make it a float!

We’re the kind of people who believe in peanut shells on the floor, good beer on tap, and yummy food on the grill. Stop in, say hi, and “Drink to Life!”

Hazy peach and orange coloured body with a thin, one centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of bright peaches, some metal, alcohol, a hint of yeast and a little citrus. Light-bodied; Very mild malt flavours with a touch of peach and fruit notes and some very subtle earthiness. Aftertaste is relatively simple as well with only a bit of the fruit playing off the malt and a hint of bitterness. Overall, a fairly mild beer with no real depth and a light sweetness is the only thing that really shows through. Not really worth trying to find and not worth space in a suitcase if you’re thinking of bringing it home. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 27-September-2013 for US$5.50 sampled at home in Washington on the other end of the country on 31-Janauary-2014.

Bomber. Pours hazy orange with a quickly collapsing off-white head; leaves a ring of big-bubbly foam. It smells exactly like strawberry wafers. Tastes like them, too. It’s lightly sweet with some dryness in the finish. Body is a little thin. Not bad, but nothing I’d ever buy again. I’m glad I bought it, though. It’s a little off the beaten path and I respect that.

Bottle: Auburn in color with a thick creamy sand-colored head. Malty and sweet aroma, light roast. Tastes sweeter than typical for the style; dark fruits, caramel, and candied sugar. Roast and malt presence is there, just tucked away in the background. Paired well with spicey gumbo.

22oz bottle picked up at JB’s in Spokane
Appearance: Pours slightly hazy golden with a medium white head and good lacing
Aroma: Dusty caramel and citrus
Taste: Earthy, caramel, grainy and lemon
A nice solid IPA, not real hoppy but well balanced and tasty. I would drink this more often if I could. I’m going to try to pick up a few more bottles next time I’m in Spokane.

Thanks to JohnGalt1 for his outstanding beer hunting skills. He brings us a couple Laht Neppur brews back in mason jars how awesome is that?? Pours out a dark brown topped with a small off-white head. Aroma was of roast malts, nut, some wood, a little sweetness, and peat. Taste was more of the peat, some sweetness, and a nuts.

Thanks to JohnGalt1 for his outstanding beer hunting skills. He brings us a couple Laht Neppur brews back in mason jars how awesome is that?? Pours out a cloudy amber topped with a small head. Aroma was of lemon zest, light toast malts, a little caramel sweetness, and some grass. Taste was much as the aroma with the citrus hop notes and a good malt balance. This would be a nice everyday drinker
