Can from the local shop, my last adventure into Happoshu for the time being. Very clear, very pale blond colour with white head that disappears almost immediately. Quite bubbly. Aroma is thin to non-existent, maybe a touch of cereal, nothing unpleasant, but nothing much there. Same with the taste, little bit of grain but really nothing much. Quite sweet aftertaste which was a little unexpected though. Very thin and watery in the mouth. Nothing much there sums it up. Not unpleasant, but what's the point really.

Brewed under license by Ch. Wells, Bedford, UK. Only very slight maltaroma. Neutral flavor with only a hint of hops and orange. Relatively full bodied for this type of lager, but bland and boring in the end.

Bottle. Rice and grain in the aroma. Almost neutral flavor, maybe a hint of hopbitterness in the aftertaste, but don’t expect too much of it. Clean and boring.

Big fizzy-creamy longlasting head, clear straw colored. Aroma is slightly dry grainy, weeds, hay, dried grain, minerals, sour grass, paper, alcohol, bark. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish grainy, weeds, hay, dried grain, minerals, paper, grass, bark, booze. Medium to longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh boozy mouthfeel. Meh!
