Can. Dullish gold with a white head. Shyish caramel and pear aroma. Smooth with moderate carbonation. Sweet and pretty clean with caramel, hints of bread, very mild spicy bitterness. If the goal here is to be a bit strong without being unpleasant, it succeeds.

From a can. Yellow gold colour with white head. Aroma, bit of caramel, bit of hops, little bit of spice. Taste is a bit metallic, bit weird grainy and a bit caramel, spiced apple. Hints of various flavours, but nothing seems to really come through to the front. Fizzy in the mouth. Not wild about it, too chemically and bland.

Can multiple times. Malty flavors. A bit of caramel. Some weird chemical notes. Dry and grassy hops on the finish. Meh. --- Beer merged from original tick of Akiaji on 28 Aug 2016 at 17:45 - Score: 6. Original review text: A tad too sweet but not awful. Nice fruitiness.

A golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet mineral malt with light corn adjunct notes, German hops, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet corn malt with light grassy hops, lingering bitterness, bready. Can from Citysuper, Causeway Bay.

33 cl can @ hotel room, Kyoto. Canned on 08/2011, BBE 04/2012
Very clear yellow color and bright white head. Aroma of grain, butter, some cardboard, corn, citrus and gooseberry bush. Flavour has sweet malt and some butter with hints of gooseberry bush. Also some starch-like elements here and somewhat sticky finish. Rather full-bodied for a basic pale lager but taste is still very bulky.

2010 can. Very bubbly, slight darkish gold with a tin head. Light malt aroma with a touch of cardboard, slight grassy hops. Light caramel in the flavor, cardboard, slightly cloying corny sweetness, ok bitterness. Why do they bother if they are going to put in rice, corn, and starch?

Can, hope this will make my 22 hour travel day go away. Golde, ok creamy head, pearling bubbles. Light grainy, peanutty aroma. Nutty, leafy, unobstrusive, ok balance, with a hint hop aromatics and a dry grassy finish. Chewy enough body, Light citric retronasal.

Clear golden lager. Aroma is slightly hoppier than your normal Japanese Pale Lager. Sweet malts also show through. Flavor is light sweet malts, some hops, maybe a hint of fruits. Finish has a nice hop bite. Watery, but nice body. Pretty suprised with this beer. The finish really sets it off. I wish it wasn’t a seasonal.
