bright golden colour, OK white head; lager-like aroma; taste of artificial (maybe metallic?) bitterness, with some sweet aftertaste, low carbonation; nothing special; one of the worst value for money rate; strongly not recommended for this price (almost 1.5EUR/0.33l in a supermarket!!!)

Tap at the Rajdoot, Burpham - 27/12/12 fuck your Epics and Abyss’s ... parallel tasting with Kingfisher !!! Clear pale golden, carbonation evident, creamy white head that retains well. Nose is pale malt and grain, a suggestion of fruit?! Taste follows, pretty limited. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Dull, bland, watery ... Kingfisher shaded it by 0.1 !

Bottle at home - 02/09/12. Having a beer free 10 days, so guess this doesn’t count. A pregnant friend brought it round earlier in the year when we had a curry and left it, I wouldn’t pay good momey just to tick a style! Pale straw colour with a bubbly white head and lots of visible carbonation. Smells very grainy, oats, a little caramel. Tastes of aspartame, overly sweet, fake citrus flavours, plasticy. Light bodied, not as much carbonation as the visual suggested, leaves me with a candarel taste on my lips! Rancid - 5 sips was enough, the rest is being liberated to Thames Valley Water - thank you and good not!

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear gold with medium head that dissipates quickly. Aromas of cereal and honey. Light mellow cereal/corn flavor. A bit flat and sweet.

Still metallic golden beer under a medium, dense snowwhite head. Vague maltaroma, straw, bit grassy, greenmalt. Dull-malty, finishing sweet, milkripe grainflavour. Flat, dead, sweetness ending up as liquorice-infusion. Utterly dull, but in all honesty, I was expecting much worse even.
