Can from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear, bright gold with a moderate creamy white head. Aroma is rather citrus. Med body. Flavor is slightly roasty malt, with some citrus, a hint of Saaz spice, and a touch of zest. Maybe green melon. Quite tasty.

473ml can. Clear, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Citrusy and piney, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, notes of lemon, grapefruit, tangerine. Taste is moderately bitter, citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of grapefruit, lemon, tangerine, sweet-ish, caramel malty backbone. Clean and focussed, classic West Coast IPA.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma is fruity/floral with some bready support. Not much of that tho. Med body. Flavor is even match between breadiness and non-tropical light fruits. Then suddenly it’s pineapple and passionfruit. Brain must have been in low gear. Pretty tasty thing - kolsch with flavors!

16 oz can from New Earth Market. Hazy, milky pour, small soft fizzy head, streaky lacing. Aroma features some bready malts, bread dough, crackers, pinch of citrus towards the back. Taste introduces some grapefruit peel, very subdued, while sweet Bready Malts still shine through. Pretty pretty mellow for a New England Style, and more featured on the malts then on the fruit.

16 oz can from Spike's. How to follow a hefeweizen and a saison? This. Flat pour, hazy, milky, looks like OJ. Aroma is grapefruit peel, orange juice and white bread. Taste brings some tropical fruit to the party, still with some citrus zing and a nice underlying maltiness. Juicy to the max, but not overly bitter. Exceptionally smooth.

Can. Murky amber beer with a cream head. Tropical fruit and earth aroma with light citrus. Tropical fruit and orange flavor with light grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Tropical fruit and orange linger with light grapefruit and light pine.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma of hop and lightly roasty malt. Hop seems pine. Med body or better. Flavor is lightly roasty malt with a lot of hop - which seems pine and earthy. Tastes good, but the flavor profile is giving me difficulty.

Cap at Cap Tap. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma of stone fruit with a bit of caramel. Hint of greenery. Med + body. Flavor is stone fruit/citrus with a bit of spiciness. Not a trace of heat for me. Moderately dry. Noticeable malitness. Pretty hoppy, tho not at all harsh. After a lot of time it seems to get tropical - green melon for example. Deadly drinkable.

Nitro at Cap Hop. Pours very dark brown with a cream beige head. Aroma of chocolate and something like a cross between veg and caramel. Med body or so. Flavor is very chocolate with definite caramel. Thinking Kraft’s dark version. Moderately dry. Earthily hoppy. Moderately bitter. Quite different. Definitely drinkable.
