9th March 2019; two glasses, draft (both 8 oz) at the Beach Hut Deli in Mission Viejo. Golden/amber body, thin white head. Fruity and fairly hoppy with a good semi-sweet malty base; nice blend of both aromas and flavours with both piney and citrusy hops combining well with the malts. Hides it's alcohol content very well.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours hazy gold with a slight white head. Aroma is near dank and rather tropical. Med body. Flavor is dank and tropical - berry, melon, pineapple, citrus. Rather dry. There's an earthiness as all the flavors melt away. Very hoppy. It's quite bitter, but there's a fruit soothing aspect that keeps it from being harsh. Mild burn in the lower gullet. Really interesting and tasty ale.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours clear ruddy dark brown (held against the sun) with a beige head. Aroma is a bit earthy toasted malt. Med body. Flavor is dark, earthy malt. Slight touch of chocolate. IMHO it nails the style. Tastes quite nice.

16 oz can purchased at Capitol Beer and Tap Room in Sacramento, California as a single. Canned 8 27 18 printed on the bottom of the can - thanks for the tip Cap Tap! The pour is a clear golden golden with a nice white foam head. The aroma is fresh tropical fruit along with a nice resin. The taste is the fresh tropical fruit and dank resin bitter towards the finish. Super fresh and clean Pale Ale. The palate is medium bodied with active carbonation and a dry mineral resin finish. Tasty.

Tap at Cap Tap 6th Ann. Pours bright gold with a white head. Aroma of pale malt. Med minus body. Flavor is lightly roasty, very lightly, malt with some mild fruity hop. Sort of non-descript. Call this a blonde and Iβll believe it. Lightly hoppy, sort of dry, not very bitter.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma suggest tropical. Med body. Flavor is fairly juicy, hints at dank and is mostly tropical - hard for me to parse tho. Itβs pretty flavorful, has detectable roasty malt support, and seems quite bitter to me. Maybe thereβs passionfruit. Good drink.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma of moderate citrus and tropicals. Med + body. Flavor is somewhat dankish citrus and tropicals. Maybe some passionfruit. Fairly dry; extremely hoppy; more than moderately bitter. Sort of old school revved up with Galaxy. Nice concept. Quite bitter! Very good drink.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy dark gold with a white head. Aroma is peach and something like orange blossom ales Iβve had. Juicy/fruity with a tart note. Med + body or nearly. Flavor is juicy, mostly peach and some malt support; juicily undry. Heat not an issue. Orange blossom comes up more strongly with time. Very hoppy. Moderately bitter. Exquisite.

Can shared by Marcus. Pours dark brown with ruby glints and a beige head. Aroma of vanilla and whiskey. Med ++ body. Flavor is whiskey, vanilla, dark malt and some dark chocolate. Whiskey permeates the drink. Reasonably towards dry, and moderately bitter. Flavor is the name of the game here, and this flavor is a winner for me. Nicely mellow.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours hazy gold with a slight white head. Aroma is somewhat juicy and hints at dank. Med body, maybe. Flavor is juicy, but it quickly puts out a wheaty note. Seems citrus and pale prunus fruits. A bit astringent. Fairly dry, medium bitter. Weak entry in the new trend.
